The meter on my camera is broken. So I'm stuck with using a crap-ass digital camera that my parents bought for vacations. Anyone want to donate el cashola to help fix my camera?

in other news, i got my very first dressform. I'm sew happy.

For a helping hand, if you will.

Due to slight confusion, and a request ( ;) ), I have decided to put the outline to my Post Modernism project here, in the journal area, so that everyone may see it, and that will be that.

The series is done on posterboards, written on with sharpies, and stencils. Pictures (half of which are in my gallery) were taped to specific boards.

*POST-MODERNISM and the outcome in GEN X
*WE ARE THE GENERATION (see photo 'We Are')
*ALWAYS TOLD TO Express Yourself!
*and YET, due to the (photo, boy holding sign)
*SELF-CENTERED NATURE (photo, see 'Conclusion')
*of POST-MODERNISM
*no one will LISTEN to our STORIES (photo, self-centered nature in cemetary, photo, cemetary)
*LOST and LONELY people (photo, 'Closure', photo, cemetary, photo, cemetary)
*look to different WAYS to COMFORT themselves
*(collage of seven photos, including 'Arrogance', also including photographs of people talking on their cellphones, writing in journals, and listening to music.)
*Because of the DISCOMFORT our REALITIES bring to others,
*(photo, 'Fact 2')
*(photo, 'Fact 1a', photo 'Fact 1b')
*(photo, 'Fact 3a', photo, 'Fact 3b', photo, 'Fact 3c')
*(photo, 'Fact 4')
*we are still yet UNABLE to express ourselves
*WHO WILL LISTEN (photo, 'Impertanant')
*AND ACCEPT US (photo, 'No Matter What')
*NO MATTER WHAT? (photo, 'Who will listen and accept...')

Slow Suicide (like it or not, it's what we do)

Yesterday was the last day of Master's for me, ever, as a student. Made even more tragic by the fact that most of the students were not there. In fact, only all of.. three were. Myself included. Everyone else was at another building rehearsing for the play in three days. (Stupid drama students. Art department kicks your ass.)

Luckily, I thought ahead and brought my camera. I took pictures most of the day; I got beautiful shots (I hope they come out well) of my lovely Carleigh and Susanna, and some shots of the first and second graders. I'm going to get them developed this week, and if there are any decent ones, I'll post them.

Graduating is so over-rated.
